Hi, I’m Matthew! I look forward to aiding you with any foot and ankle problems you may have. Having had my chronic foot pain treated successfully by a podiatrist as a child, I understand the impact that pain can have on a person’s general well-being, and the positive impact that podiatry can have on people’s lives.
I graduated from La Trobe University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master of Podiatric Practice. Upon graduation, I left the hustle and bustle of life in Melbourne for a new start in regional Victoria, beginning with Stawell for three years. I worked as a generalist in Stawell, treating absolutely anything and everything that came through the door; this provided me with a wide scope of knowledge with which to treat my patients.
I am experienced in all aspects of podiatry, but my specific areas of clinical interest are:
- Plantar heel pain (plantar fasciitis)
- Skin and nail conditions (fungal nails, corns & callus, plantar warts, ingrown toenails)
- Diabetes foot assessments and education
When I’m not helping people with their feet and ankles, I’m usually busying myself with my miniature painting hobby while listening to silly podcasts. If I’m not in my hobby room, I’m spending time with my partner Sally and our Maltese Shih Tzu’s Casper and Pepper.
