Kelly has been with the My FootDr podiatry team since the beginning of 2010, initially as part of the reception staff whilst completing her Bachelor Degree in Podiatry at the Queensland University of Technology. After graduating with honours in 2012, she has now based at the Camp Hill podiatry clinic.
Originally from a small country town in Central Western Queensland, Kelly enjoyed a wide variety of sports competing at representative levels in swimming, netball, tennis and water polo. This has given her a thorough appreciation for biomechanical injuries and ailments that may interrupt normal everyday functioning.
Kelly is interested in all aspects of podiatry and is experienced in treating a range of clinical presentations, from acute conditions including ingrown toenails, ligamentous/musculoskeletal injuries and general skin care to chronic conditions such as diabetes, arthropathies and fungal nails. She has a particular interest in sports medicine and biomechanical problems. She has a wealth of knowledge treating athletes and sportsman including champion boxer, Jeff Horn.
As podiatry is an ever-evolving profession, in the future Kelly aims to continue her learning through professional development. She is a member of the Australian Podiatry Association (QLD).
In her spare time, Kelly enjoys being social, staying fit and active, reading and barracking for her rugby league team the Melbourne Storm.
