Born and raised in Afghanistan, Farzana moved to Australia in 2010. She decided to become a podiatrist to assist her patients to stay active and have improved quality of life. Farzana’s interest in podiatry developed from her love of sport, and her experience growing up in Afghanistan where her father had limited access to diabetic foot care.
After graduating from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) with Bachelor of Podiatry in 2017, Farzana has worked in various areas in Brisbane and has been part of the team at My Foot Dr Cleveland
since 2020. She enjoys all aspects of podiatry, with special interest in ingrown toenail surgery, musculoskeletal conditions and pediatric foot concerns.
Farzana enjoys learning and keeping up to date with the latest advancements in treatment options. She is qualified to use dry needling, shockwave therapy and laser fungal nail therapy.
When not at work helping patients, Farzana is a busy as mum of 3 children. She loves to spend time with her extended family and is often at the gym or playing volleyball.
